I’m running because I deeply love our city and I believe in the people who call it home. I see the families working nonstop just to stay here, the small business owners pouring everything into their dreams, the immigrants walking into City Hall unsure where to start, the seniors who built this community and deserve to age with dignity, the parents who just want their kids to feel safe on our street and in our parks, and the next generation we are building a future for who deserve a seat at the table.

 

Loving Glendale means fighting for it.

 

For the past three and a half years, I’ve pushed City Hall to work in real life, cutting red tape, strengthening public safety, expanding affordability, investing in parks and open space, and championing arts and cultural life that brings people together. We’ve made progress, but too many are still being left behind. I’m running to keep fighting for a Glendale where people can build a life, feel they belong, and trust that their city is showing up for them every single day.

 

My deep community ties, local, state and federal advocacy work and service to our community over the course of more than 26 years have prepared me for the challenges that Glendale faces. My purpose has always been clear—to leave a positive footprint for current and future generations by fighting for social justice, equity, protecting the rights of women, minorities and the working class, our environment and small businesses.
