Glendale Councilmember has been a longtime champion of youth and students - from establishing internship and fellowship programs for high school and college students, and fellowship programs based in Sacramento for recent college graduates to spearheading initiatives to ensure youth and students voices are at decision making tables which resulted in adding youth and student seats to City of Glendale Board and Commission and mentoring countless students for the last 2 decades.
